Oxford’s Zero Emission Zone works differently: it charges every van that isn’t zero emission, £2–£10 a day between 7am and 7pm, even if the van meets Euro 6. It only covers a handful of city-centre streets, but deliveries there are charged.
Is my van compliant?
Diesel vans need Euro 6 — generally vans registered from September 2016. Petrol vans need Euro 4. Many older diesel vans still on the road are Euro 5 and pay in every zone above.
Do vans pay the Congestion Charge?
In central London, vans also pay the Congestion Charge during its hours, whether or not they’re ULEZ compliant.
How do I manage charges across several vans and drivers?
The difficulty for trades and small fleets isn’t the rules — it’s knowing which driver went where. EveryDrive’s fleet accounts let one admin see every driver’s zone entries and unpaid charges in one place, with reminders before each deadline.
