UK road charge map
Every charging zone and camera-tolled crossing EveryDrive detects, on one map: London’s ULEZ and Congestion Charge, the Clean Air Zones in England, Oxford’s Zero Emission Zone, and the Dartford, Blackwall, Silvertown, Mersey Gateway and Tyne Tunnel crossings. Use it to see which charges sit on a journey before you set off.

How to use the map
- Pick a scheme from the list to zoom to its boundary, or choose All zones to see every scheme at once.
- Zoom and drag to check whether a road or destination falls inside a boundary. The colour shows the type of scheme, as in the key under the map.
- Open the scheme’s page for its charge, hours and payment deadline, or use the checker there with an exact address and your vehicle.
These are the same boundaries the EveryDrive app uses to spot when you enter a zone, so what you see here is what triggers an alert. Being inside a boundary doesn’t always mean you pay. Most Clean Air Zones only charge vehicles that miss an emissions standard, several don’t charge private cars at all, and the Dartford Crossing and the Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels are free overnight. For every scheme’s charges and deadlines side by side, see UK road charges.
Frequently asked questions
Which road charges are on this map?
Every scheme EveryDrive detects: London’s ULEZ and Congestion Charge, the Clean Air Zones in Birmingham, Bristol, Bath, Bradford, Sheffield, Newcastle/Gateshead and Portsmouth, Oxford’s Zero Emission Zone, and the Dartford Crossing, Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels, Mersey Gateway Bridge and Tyne Tunnel.
Are these the official boundaries?
They’re the boundaries the EveryDrive app uses to detect a charge, drawn from published sources such as TfL’s open data, council maps and OpenStreetMap, and simplified slightly for display. For an address near the edge of a zone, use the checker on the scheme’s page and confirm on the official website.
Does the map show whether my car will be charged?
No. It shows where each scheme applies. Whether you pay depends on your vehicle: Clean Air Zones only charge vehicles that miss an emissions standard, and several don’t charge private cars at all. Use the checker on the scheme’s page with your vehicle to find out.
Why do the toll crossings look so small?
A toll only applies on the bridge or tunnel itself, so each crossing is drawn as a narrow corridor along the road that uses it, rather than as an area like a Clean Air Zone.
