Do cars pay the Sheffield Clean Air Zone?
No. Sheffield chose a Class C zone, which excludes private cars. There’s nothing to pay and nothing to register.
Who pays the Sheffield Clean Air Zone?
Vans, LGVs and taxis that don’t meet Euro 4 (petrol) or Euro 6 (diesel) pay £10 a day. HGVs, buses and coaches that don’t meet Euro VI pay £50 a day. Note that the inner ring road itself is part of the zone.
