Do you owe the Bristol Clean Air Zone charge?
Compliant vehicles — petrol Euro 4, diesel Euro 6, or electric — don’t pay. Check your registration and the address you visited on our Bristol Clean Air Zone page.
How do I pay the Bristol CAZ charge late?
- Go to GOV.UK’s Drive in a Clean Air Zone service.
- Enter your registration and choose Bristol.
- Select the date(s) you drove in — up to 6 days back.
- Pay by card.
Missed the 6 days? What the Bristol CAZ PCN costs
Bristol City Council issues a penalty charge notice of £120, reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days, plus the £9 charge. You can challenge it with the council within 28 days and then appeal to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal if rejected.
How do I avoid it next time?
EveryDrive notices when your phone enters the Bristol zone, tells you whether your vehicle is charged, and reminds you before the deadline.
